OateyType
GeneralQuantity
Oatey Pipe Thread Sealant with PTFE is a professional-grade joint-sealing compound designed to seal and lubricate tapered threaded pipe connections. Its PTFE-enhanced paste fills small spaces between male and female threads, helping prevent leakage caused by internal pressure.
The non-hardening formula permits tighter assembly with lower torque and allows threaded fittings to be dismantled later without stripping or damaging the threads. It is suitable for compatible plastic and metal piping systems carrying water, steam, compressed air, brine, dilute acids and selected industrial liquids or gases. Oatey official product information
