Pu exterior sealer is a oil based exterior clear which seal's all the gaps and holes. Sealer holds back the thin skin of the wood from fallling, it also stops wood from absorbing excess polish or clear. Applying sealer makes the surface more smooth. Sealer is comes with a combo of two, one is base clear and the other is hardner. The both have to be mixed with the ratio of 4:1. Then the set of both have to mixed with Asian paints Pu thinner. Dilute only 200ml of pu thinner in one litre of sealer. It has to be applied in 2 coats. After appling first coat give 4 to 6 hrs of time to dry. Then sand it with 320 or 400 water paper. Then apply second coat and leave it for 4 to 6 hrs to dry. Sealer isn't the final coat or it is applied only to support the wood for final coats. PU luxury glosy or Pu luxury matt is the final coats to be applied according to your choice.
